Carly Peters studies Environmental Economics and Policy at the University of California, Berkeley, where she is involved in numerous Bay Area-focused Climate Justice projects. In the past, she has worked on coastal cleanup initiatives and wave-powered energy ambitions, participating in the search for a sustainable future. Recently, her work has been more art and policy-based, including performing in an aco-artivism play aligned with COP30.
Outside of Saving the Sea, Carly loves exploring local museums and appreciating nature through hiking, and involving herself with natural studies organizations in Tilden Regional Preserve. She would like to volunteer in more environmental education initiatives where she can combine her love of learning with the outdoors.
