Policy Analyst
Kate Mason, a rising junior at Georgetown University majoring in Liberal Studies with a focus on Analytics, serves as a state-level Policy Analyst with Saving the Sea. Prior to joining Saving the Sea, Kate conducted PFAS and greenhouse gas (GHG) policy analysis research for the Center for Rural Enterprise & Environmental Justice (CREEJ), further strengthening her interest in connecting data to environmental policy. She is passionate about global climate resilience and international advocacy, and enjoys helping shape strategies that drive meaningful environmental change worldwide.
Outside of Saving the Sea, Kate enjoys hiking, bike riding, and gardening. She also enjoys reading, music, and volunteering with nonprofit organizations such as WikiCharities and Turning Green.
