Priyam Pandey

Priyam Pandey is a high school student and aspiring environmental policymaker, passionate about advancing equity in education, environmental justice, and youth empowerment. His commitment to environmental work is reflected in his involvement in sustainability-focused research, policy advocacy, and community outreach. He was recently elected as Co-Committee Chair of the Orange County Environmental Justice Youth Committee (OCEJ), where he advocates for marginalized communities facing environmental racism, leads youth education on environmental justice, and helps oversee the structure and operations of the program.

Priyam is excited to join Saving the Sea Organization as a Policy Analyst on the Local Policy Team, where he looks forward to contributing to meaningful environmental initiatives and helping advance sustainability through policy-driven change. Through impactful initiatives, Priyam is dedicated to driving change at both the local and national levels.
